I am 17 years old and live in South Dakota. During the summer of 2019, I will be going to Peru for 2 weeks to do nothing but service and humanitarian work. Many people, whom I’ve told this, ask, “Why? What reason do you have to do that? You could spend your summer doing something else like hanging out, swimming, camping...not working!” I answer them by saying, “It’s because I have been so blessed in my life and so fortunate in all that I have and get to do, that I want to give something back.” I’ve been blessed to live in America, the greatest country in the world. I’ve been blessed to have a family and loving parents that support me in all my dreams and crazy schemes, and who tell me when I’m doing something dumb😁. I started Badass Hammocks, with help and financial backing from my parents, because, 1- I took an entrepreneurship class and didn’t want to waste it and 2- I wanted to give back to people who have been less fortunate than me. I watched a video
Operation Toussaint by
Operation Underground Railroad and knew they were who I wanted to fund with my hammock sales. I hope you will help me in my mission to fight human trafficking and help these poor victims get back a normal life without abuse. This is my mission, and I need your help to make it happen. Hundreds of hammocks are sold on Amazon daily, imagine if we could take all those profits and actually make a difference in people's lives?
